Contract Analyst

Primary Objective of Position:

Responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing weekly chargebacks using CARS/IS database. Lead in the reconciliation of chargeback related discrepancies with A/R team, and with wholesalers. Bring to resolution any membership related questions, conflicts, errors, and adjustments. Also responsible for processing quarterly administrative service fee payments for commercial and government contracts.

Responsibilities:

 Review, process, and settle chargebacks for assigned wholesalers using CARS/IS.Reconcile chargeback discrepancies with wholesalers and communicate to A/R.Communicate with facility members, contracted customers, and wholesalers to determine membership eligibility and spearhead potential membership problems, data accuracy, and contract affiliation. Process membership changes when a facility is going through a discount change by updating CARS/IS and notifying wholesalers/field sales/internal staff.For SOX purposes, provide back-up to Sr. Manager, Contract Systems, in reviewing other team member's work as well as provide back-up for pricing changes in the contract system.Meet with internal, external, and SOX auditors to answer questions pertaining to chargeback and service fee processing.

 

Requirements:

 Bachelors DegreeTwo or more years in Managed Care or Accounting, experience with computer databases, Excel and data entry. Ability to assess priorities and maximize productivity.Ability to work independently.Proven strategic assessment and problem solving.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough. Ability to work within a team environment.
