Contract Statistician needed in Warren, New Jersey!

We are looking for a Contract Statistician for a Medical Device company in Warren, New Jersey!


Responsibilities:

Be responsible for all statistical tasks on the assigned clinical trials, and perform these tasks with a high level of independence e.g.: clinical trial design/planning, analysis plan, reporting activities including exploratory analyses and additional analyses to support publications.
May be assigned to lead a small project or parts of a project, initially under the guidance of statistical manager
Track clinical trial/allocated project activities and milestones.
Ensure timeliness and adequate quality of all Cordis deliverables for the assigned trials and project tasks.
Follow processes and adhere to Cordis and project specific standards as well as Health Authority requirements.
Participate in or lead other biostatistics and data management related activities as needed.
Establish and maintain sound working relationships and effective communication within the project team. 
 

Requirements:

MS (PhD preferred) in Statistics or Biostatistics (or equivalent degree/knowledge/expertise);
2-3 years of medical device (stent)/pharmaceutical/medical research experiences;
Strong knowledge and expertise in statistics and its applications to clinical trials. Statistical research experience preferred;
Knowledge of statistical software packages;
Good medical knowledge, preferably in medical device (stent), cardiovascular device or related medication development (knowledge of analysis methods and practical experiences with non-randomized clinical trials, Meta Analysis);
Good project management skills and a good team player;
Excellent oral / written communication skills and presentation skills
Excellent document organizing skills
