Controller - Biotechnology

Responsibilities:

 · Responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including AR, AP,

bank reconciliation, and credit card transaction reconciliation, etc.

· Ensuring all transactions are accounted for in accordance with

GAAP and are processed on a timely basis.

· Maintain financial and operational controls and procedures

· Maintain and reconcile inventory including cost accounting

· Maintain balance sheet schedules and reconciliations

· General ledger analysis and reconciliations

· Financial statement preparation and analysis

· Internal quarterly reporting

· Governmental reporting, including sales taxes return, information

reporting, and backup withholding reporting.

· Read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, government

regulations, and legal documents.

· Coordinate with outside auditor for annual audit.

 Requirements:

· BS or BA degree in Accounting, CPA certification a plus.

· 5 - 10 years experience in all aspects of accounting.

· Cost accounting experience in Biotech industry preferred.

· Experience with QuickBooks

· Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principle (GAAP)

and standards

· Good written and oral communication skills

· Excellent computer skills in MS office environment

· Strong analytical skills, reliable, and detailed-oriented
