This position is located in Morris Plains, NJ. The Customer Marketing Manager - CHC, Club is accountable to support a customer, customer group or specific Franchise by providing analysis of category, product, consumer or Brand data to maximize sales effectiveness and increase return on marketing funds. The Customer Marketing Manager performs regular category reviews for the customer and the Company. The CMM demonstrates and applies a full understanding of the Class of Trade, Brand or category for the customer or customer group and is viewed as an expert in the analysis of marketing data. This position includes assignment to special initiatives and projects as directed by Sales Management. A minimum of a 4-year degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required. A minimum of 6 years prior experience in Consumer Packaged Goods sales and/or marketing environment is required. At least 2 years proven success in consumer field sales role is required. Knowledge of statistics and research methodologies is beneficial. Must have in-depth computer skills, with ability to create, manipulate, revise and modify documents, presentations and spreadsheets. Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct research, including writing queries in database programs, developing reports and analyzing complex data to develop conclusions. In-depth knowledge of Class of Trade, assigned customer group, category, competitive products, competitive strategies and industry trends. Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work within tight deadlines and timeframes. Ability to work in a complex matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and high complexity is evident. Ability to work independently to identify business needs and opportunities and to develop a position based on this to increase sales effectiveness.
