RESPONSIBILITIES:

This Non-Exempt position supports the Company objective of excellent service to customers by insuring that all related processes are performed in accordance with Company policy, procedures and standards. You will be responsible for handling customer calls, resulting in orders, quotations, returns and/or other general inquiries. You will answer phones in a manner consistent with Company standards, handle inquiries in one call; eliminating call-backs whenever possible, present a courteous and professional phone image using appropriate phone etiquette and provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries.

You will key various transactions (orders, returns, quotes, etc) into the business system insuring accuracy of input and completeness of data. You must understand the product sufficiently to facilitate customer questions and accurate order processing as well as provide information to customers on pricing, availability, product selection and services. You will be required to prepare any required correspondence to customers in a professional and appropriate manner.

You will support inside sales initiatives through active solicitation of business opportunities and participating in the promotion of complementary products. This position serves as back up to the Receptionist for lunch/break relief, as well as during absence due to illness/vacation.

This position requires excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order processing systems, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.

Education and/or experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B. A.) plus 3 years related experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
