DNA MARKETING MANAGER

This role, reporting to Senior Marketing Manager DNA, is accountable for developing and implementing strategic and tactical marketing plans for DNA copy number applications in cytogenetics and cancer research. This role is the “voice of the customer” and understand, synthesize, and concisely communicate customer needs for the development of market requirements for specific projects.

Responsibilities:

* Define market potential and provide input on requirements to product line managers in definition of long term product portfolio roadmap based on market assessment and customer feedback to ensure customer and market needs are met.
* Define user requirements and market potential for product development projects based on internal and customer input.
* Develop and execute marketing strategy
* Develop and maintain overall customer positioning, including branding, advertising, website content and architecture, and pricing for areas of accountability.
* Develop, implement, and monitor innovative outbound, demand-generating, customer-facing marketing campaigns working cross-functionally to drive revenue growth and ensure agreed upon metrics are met.
* Develop and implement sales support tools and training programs required by customer facing staff.
* Partner with sales to develop customer and rep incentives to meet revenue targets in key growth areas
* Assess, value, and prioritize new opportunities as needed
* Collect and provide market information, analysis, and intelligence as required.
* Up to 25% travel, including international, required

The following are key attributes required for the selection process:

* Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences required. Additional MBA or Marketing degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience with successful track record in marketing, or equivalent, of life-science products required. Additional sales experience preferred.
* Experience in Marketing to CLIA laboratories and with FDA regulated products preferred.
* Self-motivated and results driven.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.
* Team player with good interpersonal skills
* The ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and resources based on business goals.
