Data will encompass both primary and secondary data sets. Nature and Scope: The focus of this position is to ensure the quality execution of client-contracted primary market research engagements, as well as handling ad-hoc requests from clients regarding secondary data. The Data Analyst will be involved at all levels of primary market research projects.Required SkillsThis individual is responsible for assisting the Manager in planning and coordinating client-contracted engagements. The Project Analyst will interact with clients in formulating methodologies and study designs that will be able to answer key business questions.This position will be responsible for training clients on the use of the interface for our Promotional Audit.Design and modify all study instruments used in contracted projects. Coordinate and manage project activities.Maintain a dialogue with Client throughout projects.Assist in the quantitative and qualitative data collection. Provide all statistical variations of study designs.Analyze data and provide results in tabular or graphic format, as required. Prepare and design presentations of the key findings.Required ExperienceBachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree, a plus. 5 – 7 years with current or previous experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech or healthcare industry required.Proficiency in methodological and survey design required. (SAQs, TIDIs, mail/fax, Internet)Experience conducting qualitative research, (IDIs, Focus Groups) preferred.Must be proficient with Internet and statistical software tools, particularly Excel & SPSS.Must have excellent verbal and written communications with an orientation toward detail. Experience in statistical, quantitative, and psychometric analysis, preferred.
