Due to our extended growth, we currently have a need for the following position:The Data Integration Director will be responsible for providing general direction supporting the design, development, integration, implementation and ongoing support of the data integration activities throughout the global organization. This accountability will include selection and management of external service providers, management of internal staffing, and management of commercial software licensing across the enterprise data integration solutions including FTP (file transfer protocol), ETL (extract, transform, load), Master Data Management, data transport monitoring, and exception handling processes. The principal responsibilities of the Director include:? Commercial and operational management of approved external service providers, including performance measurement against approved SLAs and financial management aligned to approved budgets? Significant collaboration with IS Business Partners to successfully plan and deliver the Data Integration needs of Business Partner approved projects within approved budgets.? Establishment and management of the Shire enterprise master data management approach, in significant collaboration with Shire Business Master Data Stewards and responsible Business Management ? Establishment and maintenance of key support processes and standards/guidelines aligned to data transports ? Provide operational leadership in the successful delivery and supporting the data integration support needs across the global Shire enterprise.Competencies for this position include:? Strong commercial experience focused on the selection and management of key IS service partners/providers? Demonstrated success in managing large projects that span the enterprise and delivering within budgets ? Demonstrated experience in managing a team comprised of both in-house and external resources in a ?co-source? environment, encompassing both project and ?Business As Usual? work? Prior experience with extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) technologies (Informatica PowerCenter 7.x or 8.x preferred).? Prior experience with DBMS systems (Oracle 10g and Netezza Performance Server preferred).? Prior experience with data extraction from ERP packages (Seibel CRM, SAP R3 and/or SAP BW preferred).? Prior experience with enterprise scheduling packages (UC4 preferred).? Understand data modeling and data warehouse methodologies (Dimensional modeling of Star/Snow Flake Schemas, Facts and Dimensions, Slowly Changing Dimensions, ODS, Data Marts).? Prior experience with FTP protocol and data migration techniques.? Prior experience with Data Quality packages (Informatica Data Quality preferred).? Prior experience with Data Profiling packages (Informatica Data Profiling or Informatica Data Explorer preferred).* Commercial and operational management of approved external service providers, including performance measurement against approved SLAs and financial management aligned to approved budgets (15%)* Significant collaboration with IS Business Partners to successfully plan and deliver the Data Integration needs of Business Partner approved projects within approved budgets (20%)* Establishment and management of the Shire enterprise master data management approach, in significant collaboration with Shire Business Master Data Stewards and responsible Business Management (20%)* Establishment and maintenance of key support processes and standards/guidelines aligned to data transports (20%)* Provide operational leadership in the successful delivery and supporting the data integration support needs across the global Shire enterprise.
