Direct (Online) Channel Manager, Nutrition

Our Client has an IMMEDIATE need for an Direct (Online) Channel Manager to oversee and direct sales and marketing efforts for Company website.The purpose of this position is to develop and implement sales and marketing strategy through the direct (online) channel. The Channel Manager will work closely with the sales and marketing teams and external vendors to maximize online sales profitability and ensure that the online presence is consistent with strategic vision. Responsibilities:Manage online website vendor, website design and implementation:– Hire and work with web design firm to create and manage on ongoing basis marketing and e-commerce website that optimizes customer experience– Oversee the development and implementation of online self-help utilities such as live chat, video-based help, Flash-based interactive tutorials, knowledgebase navigation and search, etc.Manage online sales activities:– Ensure that online orders are processed correctly and efficiently and that the store’s operational service levels are maintained– Evaluate site features and enhancements from a business standpoint through relevant research, data, and cost/benefit analysis– Determine the prioritization and scope of direct channel projects to maximize revenue, profit and customer satisfactionWork closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop content and ensure consistency of branding message on website Required: - Bachelors degree - 5+ years of experience in developing and managing e-commerce websites Preferred:Experience launching new product website, either in pharmaceutical or CPG industry Knowledge and Skills:Channel Knowledge – Understanding of direct sales channel components and relevant vendors Technical Knowledge – Solid understanding of web information architecture and ability to quickly learn all site components. Project Management – Excellent project management skills including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation.
