Director, ADD Training and Organization Development

Ensure consistently high quality of:a. Training and Organizational Development/Effectiveness Needs Assessment, Instructional Design, Delivery and Effectiveness Measurementb. Training and Development Operations, Administration, and Management.c. Training and Development project and program management.2. Provide leadership, management and direction to the ADD Training and Development community. Identify and assist in the execution of programs, interventions and initiatives designed to improve organizational effectiveness and culture.3. Primary interface with other Abbott Divisions, Corporate, and outside practitioners in the field of Adult Learning / Instructional Design, Organizational Design, Training Operations and Curriculum Management to ensure the division is current on the latest techniques and methods.4. Develop and execute the Division Training Strategy. Ensure compliance with applicable laws/regulations and Abbott policies andQualificationsKnowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies, conflict resolution, influence and negotiation skills, leadership, risk management, project management and systems development.Demonstrated ability to create strategies, projects/initiatives, action plans, goals, and training evaluations and assessments at the Division, function, and site levels.Must have demonstrated knowledge in training and organizational development needs assessment and program instructional design. Experience managing training initiatives, projects, and systems. Knowledge of training effectiveness measurement required.Knowledge of functions, features, and potential application of electronic systems for the design, delivery of and management of training and staffing solutions.Familiarity with quality systems and change management is a plus. Bachelor's level degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Training and Development or Instructional Design preferred.
