This is a newly created position with a highly successful, growing and profitable NJ Global Pharmaceuticals company. This position will report to a Vice President of Marketing for this Therapeutic Area and will focus on marketing to the professional and consumer side. In addition you will have 1 direct report (Associate Director level). All inquires are held in strict confidence.

Responsibilities Include:

 Responsible for developing and implementing brand strategy for assigned products which includes: development of 3-year operational brand plan and modifying plan as needed, Life Cycle Management, pricing and ensuring alignment of customer marketing teams with brand strategy. Drives brand focused market research efforts and manages forecasting production and logistic issues.  Define performance metrics. Develops and manage relationships with national KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders). Accountable for brand P&L, including brand forecast and budget allocation to customer teams and budget monitoring. Lead cross-functional teams needed to achieve key brand initiatives, defining and clarifying initiative objectives and managing the team, timelines and resources needed.  Manage Corporate and/or Alliance partners.  Gain a strong understanding of the medical, regulatory, legal and manufacturing environments for the brand as they relate to key brand initiatives.  Build relationships with key contacts in each of these areas.  Responsible for representing regional US interests on Global Brand teams.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree required; an MBA is strongly preferred.  7+ years marketing experience; preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.  Capable of developing a comprehensive plan and the ability to communicate the plan with key stakeholders. Management experience is required.  Experience in managing outside vendors/agency is strongly preferred.
