Director, Communications - Project Assignment - (Job Number: 0805586) DescriptionThe Johnson & Johnson Global Human Resources function is recruiting for a Director of Communications. The Director of Communications will lead strategic planning and execution of internal communications to advance the business objectives for a major business initiative being led by the Human Resources function of Johnson & Johnson. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Change, Communications & End-User Education, GHRT, with dotted line reporting to Public Affairs & Corporate Communications. This position will be located in New Brunswick and it is a temporary assignment anticipating to be needed for approximately 24 to 36 months.This position will have responsibility for: Strategically planning, developing, implementing and evaluating global internal communications strategies and programs to support business objectives relating to internal change, coordination of communications integration across project in collaboration with Change Management and Integration leads, serving as the communications subject matter expert in decision-making including, identifying needs, resolving issues, and redirecting changes to the communications activities, proactively manages key issues and provides counsel on needed changes in strategy or direction, ensuring the integration of change and communication approaches and plans in collaboration with Corporate Communications lead for Human Resources, ensuring implementation of core global communications deliverables, build relationships with key internal influencers and constituencies, providing counsel to regional communications teams, providing editorial oversight, collaborating with key stakeholder contacts to ensure integration of communications to targeted audiences, managing company and external communications resources, talent management and staff development. A BA/BS is required; an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 10+ years communications/human resources/OD/OE/change managementexperience required. Internal, organizational communications experience is required. Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device and/or related healthcare industry experience preferred. Prior experience in managing change management or culture creation activities in support of Human Resources or business objectives is preferred. Reputation as a business partner with broad understanding of the business and competitive environment is preferred. Up to 20% international and/or domestic travel is required. Apply Now
