Director Contracts and Pricing -- Pharmaceuticals

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company with business interests in branded, generic and OTC pharmaceutical products.  Due to phenomenal growth opportunities, we are searching for a Director of Contracts and Pricing. Duties include but are not limited to; development, implementation, and management of Customer contracts in a way that leads to Customer satisfaction, compliance to company policies and ensures profitability. Within the management of the contract lifecycle the Director of Pricing and contracts is responsible for partnering with the Field Sales organization to develop contract strategy resulting in compliant offers and/or contracts that meet the business and Customer needs. Customize & develop terms and conditions, contract cover etc., within the parameters of business and pricing policies and approved exceptions.  This position is responsible for management of a team.  Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing, and/or equivalent is required. An advanced degree (Masters or MBA) is preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years overall business experience in PHARMACEUTICAL CONTRACTING AND PRICING is required. A minimum of 2 years experience managing in a contracting, analysis, marketing, or sales setting is required. Ability to learn and demonstrate working knowledge of contracting systems and how they interface with other systems throughout the company where related to contract management and reporting. This position requires strong skills in attention to detail, resourcefulness, and follow through in the development of customer offers through addressing customer issues in a timely manner. Individual must be able to work both independently and in a team setting.  Must have proven ability to lead and coach a group of individuals.
