This position has direct facilities responsibility for the Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters campus, which includes 4 primary office buildings in New Brunswick and North Brunswick. Directs the strategic, tactical and day-to-day activities of all facilities functions and employees (salaried, wage and contractors). Included in the organization are Facilities, Grounds & Housekeeping, Capital Projects, Space Planning & Move Management, and Executive Parking Garage. Responsible for ensuring optimum performance and economical operations of all facilities and equipment. Drives collaboration to optimize processes, operational cost efficiencies and procurement and sourcing initiatives. Develops and controls departmental operating and capital budgets. Develops, implements and upgrades departmental operating procedures, administrative systems and programs that account for and control department costs and variances. Monitors and develops actionable plans to address potential failures before they occur. Initiates and sustains appropriate corrective action(s) that reinforces a culture of continuous improvement. Ensures partnership with Corporate Administrative Services group to deliver key services to HQ employee populationStrategically plans for leadership needs, identifies and implements development opportunities, and champions people development to expand capabilities, skills, and knowledge of organization. Drives campus-wide energy management and environmental initiatives consistent with Corporate objectives. Develop metrics to drive performance improvements and operational savings and strengthen service to key customer base. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree, preferably in an Engineering, Science or Business field. A Masters Degree or MBA is preferred. Must have a minimum of 7 years of facilities management experience. An understanding of facility engineering, HVAC and related building systems, safety, environmental, compliance issues, and facilities project management is preferred. Demonstrated experience making decisions on budget allocations, capital spending, expenses, personnel issue resolution and compliance related decisions. Must have experience providing leadership and direction to a team of direct reports, along with ability to develop and retain key talent. Innovation is required for the development of long-term strategies and the identification of cost-effective, efficient facilities management processes and solutions. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with diverse constituent groups including other Johnson and Johnson affiliates, external clients/customers/suppliers and internal WHQ customers on a daily basis.
