Director, GLP Bioanalytical Chemistry

Lead the GLP bioanalytical team though GLP bioanalysis and dose formulation analysis; collaborate and coordinate with other functional groups such as safety assessment, pharmacology and DMPK on programs from late discovery through clinical stages.

Responsibilities:

Manage and develop staff by growing, mentoring and leading the team in GLP environment.

Monitor laboratory workload, reprioritize resource allocation as needed, and budget to ensure completion of all tasks.

Identify analytical projects required to achieve group and corporate objectives; plan and coordinate implementation of desired outcome.

Team member for strategic planning for PK/safety, PK/PD and DMPK related activities.

Qualifications:

Requires Ph.D. with an in-depth understanding of GLP regulations and relevant FDA guidelines and 5+ years experience managing a GLP bioanalytical lab.

Hands-on analytical skills with HPLC and LC/MS/MS, data interpretation and trouble shouting skills for bioanalytical equipment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Hands-on experience with Watson LIMS system.

Knowledge of Applied Biosystems Mass Spectrometers and Biomarker assays a plus.

Experience in the field of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, knowledge of pharmacology/ biochemistry considered a plus.
