The Global Director, Quality Assurane is to ensure all systems, processes and their outcomes comply with standards that meet applicable international and national regulations and guidelines, and fulfill client and Covance CLS requirements. The Global Director, Quality Assurance must be knowledgeable in International and National regulations including, but are not limited to FDA, ICH GCP, CAP, CLIA, New York State, etc.The Global Director, Quality Assurance is also responsible for the following:1.  Direct supervision to Global QA Managers and Staff ensuring that facilities, equipment, personnel, methods, practices, procedures, records, etc conform to government regulations and ICH GCP guidelines.2.  Provide leadership as a quality consultant to Covance CLS, with particular expertise in GCP and Laboratory Quality 3.  Assure that all vendors / third party provides, utilized by Covance CLS, with regulatory output and deliverables are subject to our Global QA Vendor Auditor Program.4.  Assure that audits as defined in the project Audit Plan are completed on time and within budget.5.  Provide local /global leadership and line management as requiredAt Covance, we help make the miracles of medicine a reality.
