Director-Marketing

Inspire is seeking an experienced and talented Marketing professional to join their Marketing team.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Individual must be experienced in the development of marketing plans and have a strong understanding of the forecast process. Furthermore, this person will be responsible for marketing activities that will meet or exceed annual brand revenue target (net sales) and manage/monitor budgets and expenses within the target amount. Analyze market research and various IMS data to evaluate competitive activities to strategically position the brand in the marketplace. Individual will also be responsible for long term strategy and positioning that will allow the brand to grow throughout the product life cycle.Function as a team member with external agencies on the development of various brand building activities such as: market opportunity, evaluation of competitors, target consumer profiling, brand positioning and communication. External agencies include: advertising agency, market research, promotional item vendors, peer influence companies, and meeting management groups.Work with various internal functions (sales ops, training, clinical and development and sales) to implement current and future strategies for brand. Teamwork, open communication and sharing of ideas are essential dimensions for this position. It is critical that all internal groups are working from the same strategy to insure consistent messaging and implementation.Interact with key opinion leaders on various projects. These may include advisory boards, strategic issues and key presentations.Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.Become a leader within commercial organization and throughout Inspire.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred, with a minimum of 8 years relevant pharmaceutical experience, including sales/marketing and/or market research or analytical experience.The individual must have strong analytical skills, project management skills, decision-making skills. In addition, this position requires strong public speaking and presentation skills along with excellent written communication skills. This position requires the ability to implement goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective management of allocated resources. Positing requires the ability to manage multiple headcount. Candidate is required to implement recommendation that support department goals and objectives.

 

Eye care experience is required.
