Director, Pharmaceutical Sales & Product Training

Publicis Selling Solutions is a leading pharmaceutical contract sales and marketing company.

The Director of Training will incorporate a customer focused approach to field sales training for all of PSS clients, including general selling skills, managed care and marketplace skills and PSS corporate policies and procedures. Manages team developing and implementing client-specific training programs. Plans, organizes and monitors all PSS training meetings and works closely with all National Sales Managers to help coach and develop Regional Sales Managers, District Managers, and Professional Sales Representatives. Develops skills assessment tools in order to enhance field management capabilities. The Director of Training will also work with our internal training company, TLC, to co-develop selling skills materials.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a science background. MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-8 years formal sales training and with 2-3 years sales training management experience in the health care / pharmaceutical industry required.
• Track record of successful design and delivery of sales training modules . Specific examples required.
• Certified Training certificates from DDI or Zenger Miller Achieve preferred.
• Proven sales success 3-5 years as a Professional Sales Representative and/or a Field Manager preferred.
• Contract Sales Organization or service industry experience is preferred.
• Overnight travel as required
