The Director, Professional Training - Health Care Compliance will be responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy for professional education and training across the United States. This includes managing a team of field-based trainers/educators, in-house resources for training, and the professional educators. The incumbent will perform all job duties in full accordance with the Worldwide Policies on Information Asset Protection, maintain password(s) as Confidential, and protect Critical Business Information, understand, incorporate and comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to DePuy's business activities and Policies of the Health Care Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, plan and direct the Professional Education Strategy for the office of Medical Affairs and HCC according the DPA. Ensure objectives are represented in the creation and support of all related policies and procedures, collaborate with Research, Product Development, and Marketing, to plan and direct the strategic portfolio of surgeon consulting contracts and services, ensure the development and management of processes to facilitate the timely service (including invoicing) of all consulting agreements, work directly with legal staff to assist in drafting agreements and negotiating settlements, direct Medical Affairs staff in supporting activities of the DePuy Orthopaedics, Trauma & Extremities business units as they relate to all surgeon consulting activities, function as customer service and field support resource regarding Medical Affairs issues, prepare and manage Medical Affairs budget and select, train, develop and evaluate staff. A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required. A minimum of 7 years Training, Marketing, Health Care Compliance and/or Medical Affairs experience is required. Training and/or professional education experience is required. People management experience is required. Experience in either Medical Device, Medical Diagnostics and/or Medical Capital Equipment is preferred. Orthopaedics experience is preferred. Marketing experience is preferred. Familiarity with Healthcare Compliance is required. Experience setting education strategies is preferred. This position requires up to 25% travel, primarily domestically with some international travel.
