Director, Sales
Tasker Products is a specialty chemical company focused on next generation antibacterial applications for the agricultural, seafood and food processing industries. The company's flagship products include Unifresh® FootBath Concentrate V2, an antibacterial solution that helps control hoof warts and other bacterial conditions in dairy cows, Pacific Blue™ Seafood Spray, a quick and easy to use spray which extends the shelf life and controls the odor of seafood and Tasker Blue™, an antibacterial scalder treatment for the poultry processing industry.
Tasker is seeking a Director of Sales for its rapidly growing Poultry Division. This individual will lead the process of developing and managing strategic business plans that drive retention, penetration, profitability and growth of new and existing accounts. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs and price schedules.
This individual will also be responsible for the overall coordination, functional management and execution of the day-to-day sales activities. Develops and implements strategic sales plans, directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Oversees all hiring, training, and development of sales staff. Develops and or participates with senior management in the development of strategic Sales and Marketing Plan for the division. The position reports to the Chairman and CEO.
Requirements
The successful candidate is a disciplined and driven sales strategist and leader. Candidates must be creative and capable of operating independently. Knowledge of the food processing and food safety industry is critical. The candidate must also possess the following:
§ A proven track record of successful Sales Management experience with 5-8 years experience
§ Exceptional sales skills, including lead generation and qualification, presentation, negotiation, and closing
§ Strong communication skills, leadership, analytical and decision making skills
§ Results driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency
§ Knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
§ Demonstrated ability to interact with senior executives
§ Capacity to excel in a deadline-oriented environment
§ Outstanding oral and written communication, organizational, and negotiating skills.
§ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
§ BS/BA degree required
