Job Description Director, Sales Process Position Summary: Strategy Design and develop a sales process that integrates sales tools, productivity analytics, and reporting functions to better assist the selling organization in becoming a world class team that earns a high level of customer allegiance. Productivity Create a comprehensive system of sales productivity reporting and establish associated processes to drive continuous improvement. Incorporate best practices from strong performers to improve the overall profitability of the division. Utilize SOW, financial, and coverage metrics to establish performance targets, evaluate and modify call schedules, and determine the most effective levels and locations of selling resources Integrate sales compensation and territory planning into the financial plan, forecast and actual reporting process, establishing a closed loop between all five activities work with selling organization on all sales forecasting, planning, sales expense, and reporting activitiesInitiative Support Develop process flows and coordinate various operational units to properly support and drive sales and marketing initiatives Identify and deliver on the needs of the selling organization to successfully drive initiatives, coordinating the sales, sourcing, and marketing efforts. Implement metrics and associated reporting to track initiatives and identify problem areas Leverage metrics to identify the training needs of the sales organizationReporting React to changing customer information needs and requests Provide organizational charts and contact information for the necessary business units within Thermo Fisher Scientific Manage the mapping, forecasting, and territory analysis reporting to the sales organizationResource management and staff development. Prioritize workflow of analyst team Direct analysts on daily and more strategic activities Manage compensation related MBOs and the corresponding reporting Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent Demonstrated leadership and project management skills Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation skills) Familiarity with sales force automation (SFA) tools Ability to travel (20%) as neededEducation: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
