Director VP Quality

Two of the top pharmaceutical companies in the country have a corporate plan of increasing the company’s value five-fold. In order to do this, they will need a high-powered Director of Quality and Vice President of QA/QC ( in the Midwest and Southeastern Corridor of the US) who are looking to benefit from these aggressive growths.  Candidates for either position should have a proven track record in Directing Quality Assurance, QA Documentation, QA Systems and Quality Control. The position will be responsible for directing the management staff in all Quality Assurance activities that include training internal groups. Other responsibilities also include supporting internal/external audits, review/authorize technical information for DMF preparation and submission, authorize all quality audits from regulatory agencies and customers, and support technology transfer to assure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations. This is a new position and needs someone not just holding the right skill sets but also the vision to further that commitment in quality that will prepare our client for the next level of growth.

 

 

The ideal candidate: BS degree, Advanced Degreed preferred 10+ year’s experience in Finished Products and/or APIs.They should have a strong knowledge in multiple areas including Documentation, Specification and Standards development, and Analytical Method Development. A demonstrated ability to develop implementation plans and manage multiple priorities is essential. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are necessary. Global quality experience is preferred.
