Director of Pharmacy/Compounding Pharmacist

Independently owned busy compounding pharmacy looking for entrepreneurial personality to help grow business and manage pharmacy operations.  Pharmacy is a cash only practice dedicated to the art of compounding.  Must be able to efficiently multi-task job duties, perform and oversee sterile and non sterile compounding, direct workflow, build relationships and professionally consult with physicians and patients, properly manage, evaluate and oversee staff and develop new ideas/programs for business expansion. 

Practice specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, pain management, anti-aging therapies and nutrition.  Pharmacist must enjoy heavy patient and physician contact, including building relationships and networking with practitioners, participating and assisting in educational programs and researching and developing new therapies and ideas for business expansion.

Required experience: 

5 years pharmacy experience in a pharmacy environment.

Minimum 1 year sterile compounding experience

1-2 years minimum management experience

License/Skills required:

  Active Registered Pharmacist or PharmD License in Florida

  Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Excellent communication skills – able to converse with practitioners and develop relationships

Excellent written skills

Knowledge of current local, state and federal regulations

Thorough knowledge of USP 797 Regulations

Management skills-ability to work with and manage staff
