Director of Purchasing

Director of Purchasing for a Pharmaceutical Firm

This position is focused on directing supplier relationships and negotiations in the pharmacy-side market for generic, brand and OTC products.
The position will also work to identify and outline approaches to new business opportunities that will rely heavily on supplier participation.

 

Qualifications: 

Good quantitative skills; Good Organizational skills; Good negotiating skills.  Prior experience in distribution and/or supplier negotations is a benefit.  Experience with SCORE buying system. TPS and/or JDE is a plus. Pharmaceutical experience highly preferred.

 

Education:

Bachelors's degree., Training and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities and abilities MBA.  Pharm D is required.

 

Education requirements:

Bachelor's of Arts, Bachelor's of Science

 

This is a full time position located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
