Division Organizationl Development and Training Consultant

Provides training support to managers and employees that include Corporate programs as well as programs to meet specific division compliance needs and training goals. Supports the Organizational Development needs of the division aligned to the strategic goals and objectives that include talent management, succession planning, performance management, and enhanced organizational effectiveness. Works directly for the Division HR Manager and in collaboration with the HR staff and line management to respond to the diverse needs of the division while supporting overall corporate initiatives. Plans, develops, implements, administers and measures effectiveness of programs and processes including training, on boarding, performance management, and development programs to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives within a regulated environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related discipline, or equivalent years of education and experience. Masters degree in Organizational Development preferred.Experience: 5+ years experience in organizational development and training or human resources with responsibility for the OD and training function. Clinical diagnostics or medical device industry experience including knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485 and other related industry regulations preferred. In depth knowledge of learning management systems (Plateau preferred) including validation, implementation, writing procedures and employee training. Experience in the selection and management of external vendors and training modalities. Experience working in other HR functional areas (staffing, employee relations, etc) and familiarity with HRIS a plus.Skills: Proven ability to translate business needs into effective strategies and execute against those strategies by defining training/organizational system needs, developing, implementing, evaluating and monitoring curriculum/interventions to ensure continued effectiveness. Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze problems, exercise independent judgment, resourcefully innovate, recommend and lead effective courses of action. Proven ability to organize, prioritize, coordinate, implement and manage complex or multiple projects and tasks in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment in conjunction with day-to-day activities. Superior interpersonal skills including listening, negotiating, oral and written communication skills along with the ability to interact with diverse personalities while exercising tact and flexibility. Demonstrated ability to appropriately evaluate skills, identify development opportunities and provide effective coaching. Excellent presentation and platform skills and up to date knowledge of contemporary training modalities. Proficient in current management/leadership and organizational development practices.
