We are currently seeking a Divisional Sales Director for a home-based opportunity with i3 Pharma Informatics. This position is responsible primarily for providing direct business development, sales, and marketing support to the Vice President, Sales. Additional responsibilities will include key account management, asset building (professional services/product/methodologies/practice development), staff development, and knowledge management (development/transfer) within the context of their revenue generation responsibilities.Individual will be expected to achieve monthly and annual revenue and profitability goals. Responsibilities: Develop proactive client specific business development strategies Implement key client account development activities Successfully follow up leads, write proposals, and initiate client contacts Regularly convert follow-up leads into sales through professional key account management Develop client specific presentations and proposals Identify new market trends and formulate plans to capitalize on them that will lead to new revenue generation opportunities Utilize market knowledge and industry contacts to grow i3 Pharma Informatics business Pursue new product development opportunities to enhance i3 Pharma Informatics' marketing market position Broaden the range of i3 Pharma Informatics business within existing accounts Use consultative selling skills to achieve targeted revenues from assigned clients Assume primary business development responsibility for assigned clients and seek collaborative support from others who are assigned shared revenue responsibility for the client Provide a supportive role for those accounts where others are assigned primary revenue responsibility and the Strategic Account Manager is assigned shared revenue responsibility, including idea generation, proposal development, selected client presentations, etc. Work cooperatively across practice groups to provide business development and operational assistance as required to ensure that company's revenue and profitability goals are achieved Participate in and provide oversight of operational delivery of project content with matrix partners (across clients and practices) in order to ensure that all deliverables achieve content integrity, client satisfaction, and company profitability Participate in strategic planning, operational improvements, and corporate initiatives for Ingenix Pharma Marketing Assume a leadership role with respect to product development, staff development, and knowledge management to identify services/products of value to existing and potential key client accountsQualifications: BS degree or equivalent Ability to assume a leadership role within a team-based environment Ability to function independently to develop new business Understanding of healthcare market as it relates to the business of i3 Pharma Informatics and the ability to leverage that understanding to contribute to growth of this business Demonstrated ability to make and execute independent decisions and to make strong contributions as a member of a consulting team Self-motivated, resourceful team player with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills A minimum of five years of pharmaceutical consulting and marketing management experience with demonstrated performance in revenue generation Experience in the healthcare consulting arena very desirable Track record of independent success in consultative selling or new business development In-depth knowledge of and experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with knowledge of managed care and pharmaceutical sales and marketing Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
