About the Opportunity
We are looking for a talented individual to fill the role of a Document Administration Associate. In this position, you will support our Laboratory and QA Departments with all phases of administrative support and document control functions.
Primary Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvides general administrative and document control support, including typing, data entry, copying, filing, mailing/shipping, and other administrative duties Prepares, assembles, and formats client and internal reports, documents, correspondences, and proceduresPerforms document creation and workflow publishing to ensure the most recent version of all procedures and client provided documents are available in Qumas
Maintains the Corporate Archives, including administration for the Corporate Archive filing system Performs/assists with the administration of the following systems/programs
Quality Systems DataEmployee TrainingProject Management Other administrative duties Responsible for telephone and reception duties, including greeting visitors, and providing information to customers regarding sample status and related informationOrders and maintains inventory of commonly used office suppliesMaintains conference room schedulesSample log-in and receivingSorts and distributes mail
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be an energetic, team oriented & career-minded individual that can handle a fast paced and varied environment.Strong administrative & document control abilities, demonstrated through... College degree/secondary school training in a business, liberal arts, or related fieldHigh School diploma is required2+ years of related office experiencePrior document control experience a plus Proficiency with common PC based application
Experience in a network environment
Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, & Outlook are requiredExperience with document control software (Qumas, Documentum) and MS Access strongly preferred
LIMS experience a plus Excellent organization, communication and analytical skills; excellent attention to detail
