Document Control Specialist
Position Description:
Document Control SpecialistKV Pharmaceutical seeks a Document Control Specialist in the QA department. The successful candidate will maintain procedures for document control and change of all documentation. You will determine and enforce change control requirements and evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of documents. The document control system should ensure that appropriate persons review and authorize documents prior to issuance. A record of all relevant documents and document holders should be maintained. The system should ensure that superseded documents are withdrawn from use. Superseded documents should be retained for an appropriate and defined period. You will be directly responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company document control system, reporting on the performance and improvement of the document control system. The successful incumbent will evaluate submitted documents (new or revised) for compliance to format and content standards established including clear and concise instructions, organized in a logical manner, and containing all required instructional steps.Bachelor’s degree or combination of education, training, and experience to he “equivalent” to a four-year technical degree is required. 2 to 4 years of broad documentation experience, of which at least 1 year should be in document control in a GMP environment. Sharepoint document management system experience preferred. Additional training in documentation control is recommended.
