Drug Stability Coordinator

LOCATION:
This position is based out of our Corporate Headquarters located near the L.A.X. Airport and will require reporting in to this location on a daily basis.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Merle Norman Cosmetics, a major cosmetics manufacturer seeks a Stability Coordinator responsible for stability testing program for OTC drug products. Responsibilities include study set up, collection and distribution of test samples, maintaining testing schedules, data review and writing protocols and final reports. Will also provide support to other areas of Quality Department as needed.
This position is ideal for someone looking to get out of the lab, who enjoys the administrative aspects of working in a laboratory environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain stability calendar and logs.
- Receives items and places them on test.
- Submits samples on schedule for testing to the various labs.
- Writes stability protocols and reports.
- Maintains calibration and maintenance logs for stability chambers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants MUST reside in the local Southern California area (no relocation assistance provided, no out of state applicants will be considered) and be available to interview immediately.
Minimum Chemistry Lab Technician Associates Degree or 2+ years cGMP laboratory experience.
Highly proficient with PC skills including Microsoft Word, and Excel are required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills needed, with good analytical multi-tasking and organizational skills strongly desired.
