Job Description E-Commerce Operational Support Supervisor Position Summary: Responsible for planning and supervising the activities of the e-commerce operational support group. Coordinate, direct, design, develop, implement, maintain, and support of application systems. Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, develops schedules and coordinates all necessary resources to ensure timely completion of tasks. Ensuring business objectives are met, while effectively directing the activities of staff. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 1. Must have superior Java and J2EE expertise. Prior experience with and detailed knowledge of J2EE Best Practices and be up to date on the very latest J2EE and related specifications and standards.2. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities 3. Knowledge of J2EE technologies, design patterns, and complete application development lifecycle; proficiency in J2EE, EJB, JSP, and Java Servlets; proficiency in ANT, Application Servers, XML and Unix; working knowledge of JDBC, SQL, RDBMS and Struts preferred4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both business and technical departments.
