Talecris Biotherapeutics has the following opportunity at our Melville, NY facility:ENGINEER III Job ID #1309This position will be responsible for providing engineering project support related to the design and implementation of both new and upgraded facilities, systems and equipment used in manufacturing as well as those systems that support those operations.  This will include the generation of design specifications and drawings, interfacing with vendors, implementation and start-up of equipment and systems. Will also support the development of SOPs and Preventive Maintenance for equipment as well as supporting the validation of systems.Requirements include a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years experience in an engineering discipline a plus (related coursework acceptable).  Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD required.  Knowledge of FDA cGMP's, regulatory compliance, SOPs, QA/QC documentation, and the ability to interpret engineering documentation desired.  Experience in pharmaceutical processing and/or packaging and filling equipment preferred.Interested candidates should go to www.talecris.com and apply to position 1309.
