Electronic Data Capture Analyst EDC Analysts are responsible for delivering quality eClinical trial configurations for clients. EDC Analysts perform configuration of the eClinical project. Additionally they will perform Quality Control of configured projects for other EDC Analysts for those projects that they did not perform the development / configuration activities.Travel expectations for EDC Analysts are up to 10% for domestic locations.Main Interfaces: EDC Analysts will work with Eliassen staff including representatives of eClinical and IT.  In addition, EDC Analysts will work with external clients and vendors. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Provide configuration of the eClinical project by utilizing the design specifications provided by the Data Manager assigned to the project. Use EDC tools to implement client requirements. Collaborate with the Eliassen core team for the project, EDC Data Manager and EDC Project Manager to ensure the configuration is completed on time with high quality. Provide Quality Control on projects configured by other EDC Specialists. Maintain all required Configuration Specifications, Quality Control documents as required by SOP and Processes. Ensure compliance with Eliassen and industry quality standards, guidelines and procedures. Other duties as assigned.Candidate's Profile: Education/Language: Degree in Four-year college degree or higher preferred, analytic discipline a plus (Computer Science or Health related field) Excellent knowledge of English.Professional Skills & Experience: Minimum 0-2 years in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry or equivalent. Experience with requirements gathering, design and specification development of CRFs, edit checks, site queries, and understanding of database structures and programming languages. Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines, 21 CFR Part 11 and clinical trial methodology. Ability to perform project management activities for multiple projects and deliverables. Experience within the clinical trials industry, ideally in data management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented, ability to multitask with strong prioritization, planning and organization skills.Technical Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically MS Project. Operating Systems: Windows 2000/XP. Databases: Oracle, SQL Server. Expert knowledge of EDC capabilities and best practices. Strong familiarity with EDC and Clinical Data Management Systems: Rave, InForm, Clintrial, or Oracle Clinical preferred.
