Engineer (Mech) I

Working in a team environment with he ability to communicate across professional disciplines. Ability to travel up to 15% internationally (project dependent). Ability to see the design through to completion. Perform design reviews. Ability to create verification test plans, execute them and report on the results. Build and support overseas supplier relationships. Be able to manage multiple projects/ assignments. Work independently with little or no supervision. B.S. in an engineering curriculum minimum, preferably mechanical. 2-4 years experience in product design and development with consumer lab equipment and consumables. Plastic injection mold part design experience preferred. Sheet metal design and familiar with machining processes and coatings. Solidworks 3D modeling and drawing creation, FEA a plus. Knowledge of BOM structures. Effective communicator.
