Accountant StaffCarpinteria, CABK08013 Our Staff Accountant will work both in the areas of General Accounting including month end reconciliations and cost accounting.  It will encompass learning the manufacturing ledger to sub-ledger account reconciliations as well as detailed financial analysis related to transactions within these ledgers.  An understanding of the cost accounting processes as well as the transactions resulting from the manufacturing environment will be gained. In addition, assistance with general accounting month end closing processes and account analysis will be performed.  This position will utilize advanced Excel analysis skills.  Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with both month end account reconciliations and weekly variance account review. Work with cost accountant to perform month end/accounting transactions related to COGS/Inventory/OPM related processes in order to close books. Performs periodic cost roll-ups and responding to external cost requests. Month end reporting requirements related to COGS/Inventory/Manufacturing functions.
