Entry Level NUTRITIONIST Needed ASAP

Our Client is a respected leader in the Nutrition industry. Due to tremendous growth, they have an immediate need for an entry level Nutrition Specialist to join their team.The Nutrition Specialist communicates excellence and confidence with the product line by providing technical support to medical professionals, Client sales representatives, and private customers. Key responsibilities:Technical• Provide technical and administrative support to the Brand Managers, Sales, Marketing, and New Product Development Teams• Provide accurate technical support for external requests regarding all aspects of the product range (including healthcare professionals, consumers, pharmacies and wholesalers) through phone and internet• Respond to telephone product inquiries in a timely and efficient manner• Maintain current knowledge and reference support in the field of clinical nutrition, as well as competitive products• Distribute product literature to existing and potential customersMarketing• Develop and assist the Brand Manager in the development of product literature and marketing materials• Assist in mailings by developing mailing materials, as well as tracking responses and success rates• Be familiar with competitor products and trends on the clinical nutrition market• Edit and critique Company publications including all marketing materials and labels• Track publications in professional journals and evaluate them regarding their relevance to the product line• Assist in the coordination and organization of conferences and participation in tradeshows; handle all administrative duties that may be included and ensure conference efficiency• Assist with development of company website; ensure most current information is postedTraining• Create training literature and protocols involving technical support for new and existing products, and general nutrition • Assist in the training of new Nutrition Specialists and new Territory ManagersCustomer Service• Handle customers’ product complaints and follow through until completion of complaint process• Provide assistance to customers with ordering questions and codes (in cooperation with call center), and in obtaining insurance coverageSales Support• Provide support as needed to the Regional Sales Managers • Serve as a resource for any product inquiries from all sales representatives• Handle sample requests in the absence of a sales representativeAdministrative• Obtain consent forms from physicians and keep them up-to-date, as well as customer accounts• Keep the department’s filing system currentIdeal Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition required• Relevant experience in a hospital, consumer affairs department, or an educational organization is essential• Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeCritical Competencies for Success:• Solid technical knowledge in the field of human nutrition, physiology, biochemistry and food science in order to provide accurate information• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written• Superior organizational skills• Ability to relay scientific and technical information to the general public • Flexibility to balance multiple tasks• Ability to work both independently and as a team player• Communicate effectively with colleaguesThose interested and qualified should email their resumes to rdunn@salesconsultants.org to be considered for this IMMEDIATE opening.
