Exciting Sales Opportunity…Entry Level Pharma Sales

 

Description

NO PHARMA EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! (SALES EXP. A PLUS)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

energetic, articulate, hardworking people to join our quickly growing company and to handle one of the most covered regions in the pharma industry

Responsibilities:

• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on company provided data.
• Call on customer healthcare professionals to inform and educate regarding new drugs/products; explain characteristics and clinical studies associated with product; discuss topics such as dosage, use and effect of new products and medicinal preparations.
• Distribute samples (through clearly defined protocols) and marketing material of new products.
• Attend conventions and sales meetings as requested.
• Complete all required administrative duties, including but not limited to all daily /weekly reports, inventory reports and sampling documents.

Job Specifications and Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree required. Degree in a life science, marketing, public relations or communications preferred.
• Prefer two to five years of outside business sales experience with a record of achievement.
• Prefer candidate who has been active in school organizations, clubs, sports and/or internships or worked through school in any type of sales role.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work load and tasks to effectively meet established deadlines.
• Ability and willingness to work on the road 90% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain automobile insurance through the Company’s leased auto provider.

 

Requirements:

 

-Ability to articulate clearly and conduct oral presentations.
-Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane, as necessary to successfully perform role.
-Ability to view video display terminal images < 18” away from face for extended period of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.
-Ability to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
