At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on quality and accuracy. We are currently seeking a Health Plan and Payor Market Account Executive for our Wallingford, Connecticut location.

Job Responsibilities: Overall Sales and Account Management responsibility for Health Plans in assigned book of business. Additionally, work to Identify and close targeted new accounts. Identify and build multilevel relationships with key target accounts Develop and execute account strategies consistent with corporate strategy Build comprehensive knowledge of account needs and organizational structure Implement Corporate marketing initiatives developed for the Health Plan customer segment; support sale of Informatics, Disease Management, Laboratory Spend Management, IT solutions, AP, and other core services Develop and lead cross-functional teams to mobilize the necessary resources to create Customer satisfaction Develop and deliver proposals that provide solutions to customer's needs Negotiate new and renewal pricing to ensure contracts contribute to Quest Diagnostics Profitability goals Develop implementation plan and team to operationalize contracts Communicate routinely with all Business Units impacted by Health Plan contracts Comply with Standard RFP Response process Provide sales and target account reports as requested; routinely measure progress Provide support and information to colleagues responding to multi-site RFPs that involve assigned area

To qualify for this opportunity, you must possess Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, both verbal and written Proven ability to sell in a dynamic, competitive environment Drives for results Skilled at negotiation and has a demonstrated ability to build relationships at the C Suite level Understands the principles of Consultative Selling; meets customer's needs Understands and has utilized a sales process and strategic account management model Balances customer needs with Quest's profitability goals Performs well in a team environment Strong knowledge of local Health Plan/Insurance marketplace Viewed as a credible business consultant vs. sales rep Self-motivated
