This includes managing international and third party domestic order processing, routing, invoicing, credit adjustments, and claims investigations. Drives the development and execution of customer operations procedures, as the SAP Process Owner for BP. 1. Defines and directs the customer service procedures and operations for the BP business. This includes leading the planning, motivation, and training of the Global Customer Operations staff, and procedural execution, to insure error free and prompt handling of customer shipments and services, requests, and inquiries 2. As ITC and ECO, is responsible for insuring BP's compliance to Divisional, Corporate, Bayer AG, and US Government / BIS export compliance rules and regulations. This includes the directing oversight and adherence to of the Divisional Export Management Process system, through training and auditing of staff and process. 3. Is responsible for the selection of Freight Forwarders and Carriers for BP products. Providing expertise in this area, assures integrity of product by enabling the acceptance and approval of Shipping Guidelines, economical and safe Cold Chain solutions, and contingency procedures, by influencing QA, Compliance and Validation personnel in the decision process. 4. Process Owner for the SAP Customer Service module. Directs the development, deployment and continued maintenance of the system. Acts as System Administrator, directing key activities with staff, such as system auditing, reconciliation, and ship history management. Provides direction and leadership to the Manager, BP Domestic Customer Service. 5. Manages communications with customers regarding product distribution holds and recalls. As an agent to QA/RA, instructs customers, and then directs the necessary return and/or destruction of product, to ensure proper claim and reimbursement, enabling accurate audit trail. POSITION REQUIREMENTS The position requires a Masters degree with 5-7 years of related management experience or a BS degree with 8-10 years related management experience, or equivalent experience in a regulated export customer service environment, with demonstrated leadership in Customer Operations. The incumbent must have expertise in US and International customs law and regulations, US Dept of Commerce reporting requirements and international traffic operations and law.
