To learn more about our company, please visit us at: www.ethiconendo.com As a co-op in the External Operations Department at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, you will have the opportunity to work with External Manufacturers within and outside the U.S., handling the day-to-day technical and business-related opportunities necessary for delivering quality products to our customers. Co-op's also are afforded the opportunity to lead projects and work closely with Senior Engineers and cross-functional project teams, and will be responsible for helping the business units meet customer service requirements. There is a true appreciation for seeing how engineering and business cross paths. Responsibilities increase with each co-op rotation. Rotations are: 3 ' 4 months for summer interns and 6 months for co-op students. We offer a competitive wage and subsidized, furnished housing for non-local students. Sample assignment activities and responsibilities may include: Developing product testing methods and training others using these testing methods Completing a Business Plan that includes technical and business-related tradeoffs Receive various on-line and classroom training, which includes applications to instrument design as it relates to surgical procedures Rotation and/or support of other departments or business units, if available, to grow breadth of knowledge Working on personal Development Plans, specifically tailored to each student Pursuing a BS in an Engineering or related technical field GPA of 3.0 or higher Demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities US Citizen or Permanent Resident Sophomore level and above Apply Now
