Assist in the design, maintenance and operation of cGMP equipment and systems within the Lebanon facility.1. Provide expertise in facilities, utilities and related systems engineering, design, and implementation.2. Facilities, Utilities, Systems and Equipment (FUSE) troubleshooting to support changes, deviations, investigations, corrective and preventative actions and related operational issues. 3. Serve as an interface between engineering, facilities (plant services), and other departments as required.4. Track and evaluate utility trends necessary to support operations or trouble shooting.5. Drive decision and take action on issues impacting or threatening utility or equipment uptime and reliability. 6. Coordinate fabrication, procurement, installation, start-up, and validation activities of new equipment and systems, including documentation of commissioning IQ/OQ protocols, test executions, and summary reports.7. Participate in the development and implementation of procedural or automation improvement changes.8. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) or user representative for designated system or equipment.9. Point person for facilities and utilities improvement activities. These may include performing or overseeing material and energy balances, creating/updating drawings, authoring equipment specifications, user and functional requirements specifications, and necessary FAT and SAT protocols. 10. Project Management, including matrix management of Stryker Biotech personnel, of repairs and improvements of Utility and Architectural systems, utilizing current project tracking tools as appropriate.11. As the system owner serve as Commissioning Lead in the execution of Commissioning Test Scripts. 12. Participate in engineering runs to test facilities/utilities equipment or to troubleshoot problems.13. Travel to equipment and software vendors for evaluations and factory acceptance testing (FAT).14. Regular supervision of outside contractors within the Lebanon facility.Requires a Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent years in engineering or related experience at the job. A minimum of 7 to 15 years related experience with a Bachelors, or 5 to 7 years with a Masters. Prefer hands-on pharmaceutical or biotechnology facilities/utilities experience. Normally receives no instructions on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. Knowledge of Automation, GMPs, Compliance and Regulatory requirements is essential.
