The following position is available in our growing Pharmaceutical Research & Development Division in Long Island, NY: Facilities Mechanic - 2nd Shift, Facilities (Job ID # 87354)Research and DevelopmentCommack, NY Forest has an opportunity for an experienced individual to repair and maintain facility mechanical equipment and parts of building structures. 1. Maintaining and repairing machines and parts of building structures 2. Repair and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and building; 3. Work on plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning and heating systems; repair and maintain boilers and pumps 4. Build partitions; make plaster or drywall repairs; repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, and other parts of building structures. 5. Preventive maintenance 6. Keep records of maintenance repair work. 7. All work is done in accordance with SOP procedures and Facilities departmental procedures Education: High School Diploma/ GEDExperience: 4 years experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Facilities maintenance.
