Responsibilities include: • Develop new methods or adapt existing methods to new sample matrices • Provide technical support to customers and sales reps • Provide onsite customer technical support • Perform product demonstrations • Prepare technical bulletins, newsletters, performance data summaries • Perform instrument installs, preventative maintenance, and repairs as needed • Provide product training to customers, sales reps, and others • Ensure onsite technical support coverage for assigned territory • Support sales in customer retention and securing new businessQualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in chemistry, preferably inorganic or analytical, or equivalent. Candidates will also need 2 - 5 years related laboratory experience, technical support, and sales support. Experience in environmental testing such as drinking water, waste water, sludge, soil analyses, and food/beverage/wine testing is highly desirable. Must have excellent organizational, communication, people interaction, presentation and persuasive skills. Must be a team player. Computer literacy is a must. Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
