Field Service Engineer - Dallas

Radiometer America Inc., a division of Danaher Corporation, is a recognized leader in medical instrumentation.  Our equipment includes a broad line of analyzers, blood samplers, quality control systems and IT solutions.  Radiometer provides hospitals worldwide with STAT-testing solutions for the diagnosis of critically ill patients from laboratory to point-of-care test settings.

 

Territory                      based in Dallas/Fort Worth Metro area covering northern Texas

 

Travel                          50%, some overnight travel

 

Qualifications              2 year Associate degree in Electronics and/or military experience in electronics

                                    Field service work, preferably in the medical field

                                    Aability to collect info., identify and diagnose problems

                                    Self-starter who can prioritize business needs to meet customer satisfaction

                                    Basic networking or IT systems upgrade experience

                                    CompTIA A+ and/or Net+ Certification preferred

                                    On-call required (alternating weekends); available for customer support periodically after hours

 



 Responsibilities          Install, maintain and repair medical instrumentation within an assigned territory

                                    Maintain positive customer relationships

                                    Prioritizes time to meet the service needs of the customers

                                    Follows all compliance quality standards on equipment repairs and training

                                    Completes administrative paperwork and Service Work Orders in a timely manner

                                    Accountable for service parts inventory, safe operation of company vehicle
