Fill/Finish Associate/Scientist

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

This position develops and executes formulation, lyophilization and spray drying procedures to produce pre-clinical and clinical protein, live bacterial to prevent Tuberculosis.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Vaccine formulation and Fill/Finish development covering the vaccine product lifecyle Aseptic filling, lyophilization, and capping procedures for human vaccines Assembly, dissemble and clean spray dryer parts, and prepare spray drying test materials under BSL2 environment Performs “in house” cGMP filling, lyophilization, spray drying, capping and labeling procedures for stability, toxicology and clinical materials Develops process using DSC, Laser Diffraction, CFU and other analytical techniques. Specifies, requisitions and maintains laboratory inventory of materials required for shipping, filling, lyophilization, and capping procedures Completes proper documentation of all work in laboratory notebooks, reports, batch records and forms Installs and maintains filling, lyophilization and spray drying equipment


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor or Master Degree required One or more years of laboratory experience. Experience in cGMP or process development a plus Ability to prepare complex reagents Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organizational milestones Excellent oral and written communications skills Experience working on licensed human vaccines a plus
