We're part of a team that's making a difference in the quality of people's lives.Think What's Possible.Responsible for all financial analysis, customer P&L management and forecasting for the Walmart and Target Teams. Assist Teams in preparation of annual targets, quarterly LEs & monthly projections of sales, trade spending, and operating expenses by compiling, analyzing and evaluating estimates.Manage the Customer P&L by developing and implementing plans to maximize profitability.Work with sales teams on all business elements affecting revenue and profitability including unsaleables, trade spending, deductions, etc. This is accomplished by gaining/applying knowledge of the P&L requirements of customers and assigned business unit(s) while developing win/win business solutions. Provide analytical support to Teams in identifying and quantifying growth opportunities and potential cost savings opportunities. Assist Teams in preparation of annual and monthly sales forecasts and provide variance analysis to explain changes versus actual results. Use historical analysis to improve future forecasts, to better understand the customer and market conditions, and to identify opportunities to improve sales and profitability.Participate in special projects on Teams by providing financial guidance and input.Ensure all SOX compliance deadlines and tests are met within the teams. Ensure that customer teams are aware of SOX compliance requirements as it relates to their specific area and are managing the business according to specified guidelines.QualificationsMinimum:§Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics §5+ years of related experience. General knowledge of sales operations and financial principles preferably directly related to a consumer product business. §Familiarity with computer based budgeting and sales operations systems or the ability to learn quickly. Comprehensive knowledge of personal computers and financial spreadsheets (Excel). §Must possess good problem solving, communication and project management skills. §Approximately 10 20% domestic travel.Preferred: MBA or equivalent.
