ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT Finance's primary responsibilities include financial reporting, corporate taxes, accounts payable, billing and collections, budget development and monitoring, underwriting, cash management, risk management, SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions activity, payroll, disaster recovery planning, internal audit and investor relations. RESPONSIBILITIES Develops financial analysis and pricing packages. Works with all levels of management as well as clients. Assists Express Scripts and our customers to make appropriate financial and business decisions. Review of benefit changes, network changes, and formulary changes Develop financial tools for internal and external use. Assist clients in making decisions regarding their annual sales and renewal strategies, including cost/saving projections. Provide general business consulting for internal and external customers. Enhance and develop relationships with brokers, consultants and consulting houses. Participate and lead various financial analysis projects. Requires ability to focus on details while understanding potential overall ramifications. Frequent interactions with internal and external customers demanding well developed analysis skills, and written and verbal communication skills. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field. M.B.A. is a plus. One to three years of significant financial analysis and/or underwriting experience. Ability to handle complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions. Strong business and organizational skills. Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Minimum of two years of PBM or Healthcare industry experience. Excellent customer service, technical, analytical, and communication skills required. Excellent PC skills.
