Flash Developer

Experienced in Flash development, this role will be responsible for producing interactive brand experiences from concept to execution. Projects will include the use of Flash video, user based, dynamic content, images and related material, unique transitions & effects, database integration, deep-linking, and communication between Flash and Javascript using Flash external interface API. Additionally, this role requires an advanced level of knowledge in ActionScript with real world applications having developed Flash sites, building custom components, and creating re-usable code. Other tasks and deliverables include creating prototypes in collaboration with the creative lead, HFE usability experts and server-side programmers to develop unique content management interfaces and structures.Responsibilities:• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment • Ability to lead a project as well as work solo if the situation arises • Develop and integrate reusable code for a range of projects using ActionScript • Maintain ongoing design needs for the website and marketing communications efforts• Performs a variety of complex technical tasks as well as day-to-day content updates and problem fixes• Demonstrated quick turnaround on projects, completing assignments on-time and within budget• Demonstrate conceptual reasoning and discretionary judgmentRequirements:• 7+ years experience developing GUIs and other user-centric experiences • 4+ years experience with HTML/XHTML/CSS… in compliance with W3C standards • Experience working with XML • Experience with Flash remoting • Expert knowledge of Flash and ActionScript 1.0 thru 3.0 • Passionate about interactive and where the web is heading • Ability to communicate complex visual and structural concepts • Ability to prioritize, manage workloads and meet critical deadlines • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills• Experience in multi-media, digital video and audio technologies• Advanced typography, layout aesthetic and design principles • Proficient in both MAC and Windows based applications • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and CS• Knowledge in Microsoft Pro tools, eg.
