Flow Cytometry Lab Manager

This position will manage the Flow Cytometry lab in our newly constructed Virology Research Center in Cambridge. We are looking for someone with 5+ years experience in managing flow cytometry facility. A deep understanding of instrumentation and cutting edge techniques is required. Should have experience in working with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural global project teams. The successful candidate is expected to be customer focused, a creative self-starter with the ability to interact with multi- disciplinary and multi-cultural teams. He/she is expected to provide coaching, training, and administration of performance management to personnel (primarily, but not limited to, direct reports). The candidate will be expected to establish a state of the art flow cytometry facility to service Vaccine Research in Cambridge.Novartis Vaccines & Diagnotics is a new division of Novartis consisting of two businesses focusing on the development of preventive treatments and tools.
