We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Formulation Scientist located in our Pomona, New York offices.

Position Summary:

This position offers the ability to work as a contributing member of our R&D group. This is an excellent opportunity for a success driven scientist to join a fast paced, rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities include: Conduct pre-formulation research and characterization of pharmaceutical components and drug delivery systems Work on complex projects in support of new product development, while adhering to regulatory requirements Identify and evaluate the critical formulation and processing parameters to develop drug delivery systems to be manufactured using state-of-the-art technology Conduct data analysis and report writing to support NDA/ANDA and PAI filingsPosition Requirements include: PhD in pharmaceutics or industrial pharmacy Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment such as mixers, tablet presses, capsule machines, fluid beds, tablet coaters, etc. Working knowledge of experimental equipment such as x-ray diffractometry (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), surface area analysis, rheometry, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and isothermal microcalorimetry (ITMC) In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutics, industrial pharmacy, physical pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, chemistry, and biostatistics Working knowledge of statistical design and math modeling Strong communication skills- both verbal and writtenCommitment to Excellence - Many companies talk about it.
