Position Description:

Job Summary:Applies production experience and vocational instruction to complete complex functional testing of biotech analytical instrumentation. Excellent skills in computers, reading, writing and math will be needed to complete the required tasks. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and familiarity with basic computer tasks is necessary. Extremely strong organizational skills is a must. Job duties include but are not limited to:• The successful candidate will follow SOPs to run predetermined computer tests on completed and in-progress instrumentation. • Detailed test reports will be written up following standard procedures.• Responsible for both maintaining and verifying DHRs from every stage of the manufacture. This requires an strong attention to detail.• May be assigned to different work stations as production needs require. • Set up, operate, and maintain equipment and tools in accordance with written and verbal instructions. • Report deficiencies or repair needs to the area Supervisor. • Must maintain or exceed acceptable productivity levels while maintaining a consistent and acceptable level of quality. • Required to complete paperwork, and maintain accurate documentation. • Verifies products meet or exceed stated requirements related to workmanship, engineering change orders, R&D forms, and discrepant material notices. • Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. • Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. Qualifications:Education and Experience:• The successful candidate will have a high school degree or GED and more than three years experience in a manufacturing environment. • Candidates must be PC literate. • Ability to work from printed instructions is required. • Candidates must speak & write English fluently. • The candidate must also be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and possess a can-do attitude. • The Employee must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, and must be able to perform various assembly operations requiring manual dexterity and repetitive motions. • Overtime and Saturday work may be required.• Knowledge of ISO and FDA requirements is desired, but not required.
